Yongxiang’s Project Passed UN’s CDM Registration

  June, 3rd, after two years’ unremitting efforts, Yongxiang Co., Ltd.’s Comprehensive Utilization of Carbide Slag Cement Project has successfully registered at the UN CDM Council, with a 10-year project duration. The successful registration signals Yongxiang’s big step towards its aim of building chain cycle of economy, trade and industry, as well as alleviating pollution pressure on the environment by effectively utilizing local energies.

  According to CDM Executive Board, Yongxiang’s project was one among the five Chinese projects that were approved by the CDM EB in 2009. Until June 4, 2009, China has had 574 CDM registration cases, (Yongxiang’s project was the 506th, with the utilization of carbide slag construction 2,000 tons/day), accounting 34.5% of the total registration number in the host country.
