In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fifth Party Congress of Meishan and the Second Plenary Session of the Fifth Municipal Committee, unswervingly push forward the strategy of "Building Meishan into a Strong City in Manufacturing", accelerate the construction of the "1+3" modern industrial system based on the theme of the "Year of Breakthrough in Building Meishan into a Strong City in Manufacturing", and promote the high-quality development of the city's manufacturing industry, Hu Yuankun, secretary of Meishan Municipal Committee, Du Ziping, Party secretary and director of the Standing Committee of Meishan Municipal People's Congress, Huang Jiandong, chairman and Party secretary of Meishan Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Liu Xianwei, member of the Standing Committee of Meishan Municipal Party Committee and executive vice mayor of Meishan Municipal People's Government, as well as the participants of the Conference on the Development of Meishan's Manufacturing Industry, visited TW Solar Meishan Base for investigation on March 16. Later, the delegation visited the intelligent manufacturing workshop where they got to closely observe the operation of intelligent equipment such as IGV trolleys and robot arms, experienced the automation level of TW Solar's production equipment firsthand and highly recognized the company's lean management mode and intelligent level.

The delegation pointed out that the task of "enhancing the core competitiveness of manufacturing" was included in the government work report 2022 for the first time and that the report proposed to enhance the scientific and technological innovation capacity and accelerate the development of advanced manufacturing clusters. As a leader in PV industry, TW Solar should accelerate innovation and development as well as digital transformation, further improve production efficiency and promote green development, and implement the concept of green supply chain throughout the whole production process and the entire product life cycle.
